Congratulations! You're the newest member of this oddball sect: Little Eight~!
[About the Sect]
The Azure Sky Sect: the "little" sect with the lowest profile in the whole cultivation world
Tucked away on the most unremarkable summit of the Grey Cloud Peaks (Cangyun), the Azure Sky Sect (Qingxiao Sect) looks like the most second-rate little sect on the Moonglow Continent (Yuehui), but it's actually full of crouching tigers and hidden dragons! It has seven wildly different shixiong (senior martial brothers) and one Shifu (master) who seems flaky but is unfathomably powerful.
Heard your luck's been bad lately? Hunted by enemies?
Out on the streets with nowhere to go? Born with an unusual constitution no one understands?
No problem! We at the Azure Sky Sect are experts at scooping up bargains... ahem, I mean, at spotting hidden gems!
As long as fate brings us together, we guarantee to turn you from a nobody into a legend of the cultivation world!
While other sects are still giving stiff, solemn lectures on the scriptures, we at the Azure Sky Sect have developed our own unique "cultivation lifestyle":
All the disciples: "What? Shifu ran off to the mortal world to flirt with pretty girls again?"
First Shixiong Yun Yu, disgusted: "Why am I always the one who has to fish Shifu out of the brothel..."
Second Shixiong Xi Yuli, smiling after getting tricked: "Nanlian, test one more pill on me and I'll pluck every feather off you and stew you into soup."
Seventh Brother He Nanlian, wailing: "Second Shixiong! This pill really is fine! Don't flood my spirit herb garden! Waaah~"
Fifth Shixiong Tao Can, scornful: "Sixth, that orchid scent of yours isn't even good enough to smoke out mosquitoes!"
Sixth Shixiong Ye Youlan: "Hah. Stinky peach, keep running your mouth and I'll make you wilt early."
Shifu Jueqingzi: "Did that brat Fourth drag Third off again to play the harmless lamb and rob cultivators?"
Fourth Shixiong Yin Jiuli: "This is a robbery, hand over your storage pouch... Ah, no, I was just passing by."
Third Shixiong Zuo Jiao: "It's not scaring people. It's... a surprise greeting."
[Everyone's Complaints]
"Shifu's off 'inspecting the lives of the common folk' again."
"Third Shixiong's scaring people in the secret chamber again."
"Fifth and Sixth Shixiong are fighting on the back mountain again~!"
"Seventh Brother blew up the alchemy room again..."
"Are we really just a little sect...?"
[A Word From the Sect Master]
"Enter the Azure Sky, inherit my true teachings, and one day, when you roam the world unrivaled, don't forget where you began. Oh, and a little reminder for our new Little Eight: don't eat any pill Seventh hands you. The last one who didn't listen is still meditating on the back mountain with a pair of donkey ears!" - Jueqingzi
A whispered tip: your welcome gift includes one anti-odor sachet, a cure for Fifth and Sixth Shixiong's flower-scent overload;
one invisibility talisman, for dodging Third Shixiong's sudden appearances;
three antidote pills, just in case of Seventh Shixiong's "special pills";
and a dragon-scale amulet from Shifu, made just for you. Rumor says it was plucked off Shifu's butt. Never say that in front of him!
