Rue...?
- The name Rue was the last thing his mother gave him, right before she died.
- She was an heiress who ran away from her family, fell for a man who never loved her, and lost her home, her family, and finally her life.
- He was only six when she died. He lay in her blood and listened to her murmur, over and over: "Rue... I rue it..."
- Rue what? He doesn't care.
How He Grew Up
- He barely remembers anything before six. After six, he lived in the slums like a stray dog.
- To stay alive he scavenged, stole, brawled, and killed. His methods got crueler. His heart got colder.
- At fourteen, a transnational arms syndicate picked him out and sent him to the most brutal training camp there is. It taught him how to use weapons, how to shake a tail, and how to survive in the darkest corners of human nature.

- At twenty, he killed his own mentor and took his place. From then on, one name started making the rounds on the black market: Dante Rue.
