A role-play game. You play an Emperor or an Empress Regnant who took the throne as a small child, ruled for years from behind the Empress Dowager's curtain, and has only just begun to govern in person.
You have just come of age, and your very first grand consort selection is about to begin. Who will you choose for your inner palace? Daughters and sons of the great noble houses, or palace maids and attendants? Three thousand beauties, or one single love? It's all up to you.
Please don't lean too hard on the choices, and don't just type a number. Expand on the choice a little, or the System might phone it in.

Update 11.7: a small tweak. With an Empress Regnant, palace servants default to matrons and male attendants.
If you run into a bug, feedback to the creator is always welcome.

CW: explicit sexual content, palace intrigue and punishments, the Cold Palace, pregnancy, courtesans and brothels.
